Whew, MFF is done.

I think Shadowstalker summed up things pretty well in how our official con report went for Artist's Alley. We didn't have enough room as we would have liked, but that's the way things go with a convention- compromise is everything.

We had some really good suggestions from other artists, and we're definitely hoping to implement things.

I didn't do much drawing over the course of the weekend... I just wasn't feeling like trying to make any sales. I'm still recovering from pneumonia, so I daresay that had something to do with it.

I also realized how much I really dislike winter. I've lived in the Great White North for 6 years now, and my thin southern blood has yet to thicken. I'm -cold-!

Anyhow, I'm hoping to open up for badge commissions for those hoping to do FC in January. I'm lowering prices for the holidays, and will get my samples scanned and posted in the next couple of days. Time to put myself back to work.

Have a happy (and safe) Thanksgiving for those of you in the US!

So, I've hit a bit of a snag in the personal finances, and am now trying to garner up some income through commissions.

I have some online auctions going, I'm hoping they catch some interest.

If folks can help me out by spreading the word, I'd really appreciate it!

Thanks!

Okay folks. Finances are forcing me to post original artwork up on furbid, so if there's something you wanted, now's the time to get it! I have three auctions going, and will be posting commissions when I'm caught up enough with my backlog.

There's only three pieces up now, but watch the space!

Question for the people that read my livejournal-

Would you pay $20-25 for a small (6"x6") painting commission? Is this a reasonable price?

I'm looking for things I can do quickly that are small and cheap, so I can have a good turnaround.

Feedback is welcome, and if anyone's interested in one, let me know! :)

Due to some unexpected expenses that have popped up related to the Anthrocon trip, I'm opening up for badge and bookmark commissons to try and make things a little less tight financially.

If you want a badge or bookmark BEFORE the con, now is the time to get one!

Badges will be done on high quality bristol paper in watercolor, marker and colored pencil, sized to fit in most common badge holders.

Bookmarks are 6" long and 1.5" wide, done on watercolor paper in watercolors, marker and pencils. Can be laminated by request.

Asking $25 for a badge and $10 for a bookmark. Due to size contraints, 1 character and simple background is all that is allowed.

If you want a sketchbook drawing (basic pencils, shading, abstract background), I'm also willing to do those on bristol paper, 8.5x11 for $15.

These are the same prices I will be charging at the convention itself, this is just your chance to get one early, and not have to worry about waiting til the end of the weekend to get your art!

Please see my website for samples of my work.

Thanks guys!
